A small sampling of the simply inane crap reporting can be found here.
Look, he seems like a nice fellow and I support his push towards developing alternative energy sources and also working on infrastructure of the roads and power grid, but this "let's print more money to stimulate the economy" talk demonstrates that he, like Bush, has no real grasp of what's going on, and no "new ideas" to fix it, despite the media spin.
Printing money to stop this worldwide deflationary wave is like shooting spitballs at a meteor IMHO.
Also there was some offensive race baiting all around the ceremony yesterday. Don't believe me? Just substitute the word "white" (or "Mexican" or "Chinese" or whatever) every time an official, minister or crowd member says "black", and prepare to get offended. It's OK to spout racist remarks if you're black, though...it's a rule somewhere I suppose. And yes I know there was horrible segregation and treatment for blacks during the 20th century, but you know what, there are LAWS against that now...
The fact that a half black president is somehow "proof" that the dream is alive or whatever is only proof of the appalling shallowness of our "civil rights leaders", the media, and the general silliness of the population at large...in my humble opinion.
Obama is a man, and most probably a good man. I hope his leadership will strengthen this country. Black or white shouldn't even enter into the equation. I have no tolerance for mindless race baiting, even if represents some sort of "progress" in the minds of folks with an agenda to pursue.
But enough about that.
We're getting a little bounce today, and that's ok...I plan to add to short positions in the event this rally lasts all session.
