Anyway I'm sure this fellow is a decent enough trader and he's probably decent to his mother (to her face, anyway)
But he's a typical message board THUG. And I, frankly, don't get why he gets off calling me names in cyberspace:

Everytime he gives me unsolicited grief in the future, I plan to call him what he is:
A THUG!!

Howdy Buster,
Somehow I completely missed that clever exchange between you two.
In the past I've yet to read anything objectionable in your posts, or IT4R's for that matter - until this unfortunate display, which appears to be IT's spat.
Kudos for the maintaining the semi-moral highground. Or would that be the moral semi-highground?
Whichever!
IT4R seems to be getting his juice from anatagonizing you. He's looking for something. He's a seeker.
Put him on the defense.
Break him down.
Ask him direct questions that'll box-in his vantage points.
Whatever he coughs up keep in your pocket to flail him with in the weeks to come. But nothing now.
Here's how it'll play out:
A: He'll wise up, call you freak and move on to less responsive prey.
B: He'll vomit out a littany of inner demons that have nothing to do with you. He's just looking for someone to care enough to ask. It'll look like a soap box when really it's a cry for someone to give a sh!t about "him".
C: While you have him puking out his soul you might pick up some good intel or PoVs. Disregard the unusable vomitus.
D: Best case - superficial enemies can find common ground upon further scrutiny laying down the groundwork for a healthy mutual exchange of ideas.
I've successfuly achieved that last one so many times it's not funny.
BOL, do what you gotta do, what goes around comes around & see you around at the Slope.

Hey you know, Fuzz, that's a terrific comment!
Myself I know full well that facetiousness doesn't transmit well on message boards, and probably some tongue in cheek stuff that I say may not be interpreted in the spirit intended.
I have no illusions about being a market guru myself; in fact I like to question all gurus, including those that I respect a lot (exactly why did TK go long today??), but I don't mind disagreements at all as long as good ideas are exchanged and everyone is respectful, or at the very least light-hearted.
Thanks for coming by Fuzz!
Thank you and I'll come by once in a while, ferr sure.
Good poop on your last two posts.
I've long ago identified the weekly SloStochs & Willie (SS&W) on SPY and have slowly been accumulating the painfull experience to make ping-pong trades utilizing SSO & SDS.
I thought that I would have been able to use the SPY SS&W cues to trade in & out of SKF & UYG but I've failed miserably over the last half year.
SSO & SDS are the way to go.
Straight equities or options.
Here's the deal, though: Even with the fantastic advantages of these two double inverse funds is that they still move laughably slow in percentage terms.
With that in mind, when you're looking at reversal trades every four to eight weeks for 3% to 10% gains you'd kinda need to have a rather substantial ammount of capital at work to make it worth your while.
A 10% gain on $20K is fine.
However a 10% gain on $200K is really some dough.
With smaller accounts (and I have no idea or interest in swapping intimate details, just yet) I see that a inveator really needs to be a rather aggressive trader to accumulate the mass of capital it takes to ratchet down the risk profile to make semi-monthly swing trades worthwhile.
Of course, that and a buck thirty five will get you a coke outta the machine.
Fuzz-
I've officially given up on SKF...not because it's a bad thing and one can't make money with it, but quite simply anyone in SKF is in the Fed's cross hairs and it's not emotionally worth it to me. I'd rather deal with anything *but* financials, either up or down.
Also I've been painfully aware that stuff like TWM rather underperforms the averages on a move by move basis, but it doesn't bother me enough to stop using them, although in the future I do plan on getting back into futures which I feel is the more efficient medium for that stuff (plus I've followed grains for years)
Anyway thanks tons Fuzzy!
